Head of Cancer Artificial Intelligence
Full-time - 100% Remote
Must be available during US business hours with some evening and weekend availability, and speak fluent English. Exceptional communication skills required.
The company provides data and software solutions to support the competitive intelligence needs of the pharmaceutical and life science industries. Since 2004, they have been providing comprehensive data & information analysis for the most prominent pharmaceutical companies in the world and continue to expand. The company is looking for a Head of Cancer Artificial Intelligence to coordinate their AI efforts. This is a great role for a professional with AI experience who is looking to challenge themselves in a company with a lot of growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the company’s long-term AI efforts.
Play the leading role in research, development, implementation, and validation of AI for our products.
Direct the engineering of the production analytics system (Java); algorithm development and data analysis (R, Matlab); data organization, cleaning, versioning (Python).
Integrate analytics seamlessly into products.
Collaborate with team members to monitor results and track issues related to the analytics pipeline.
Assist and support the management and corporate strategy team for analytics, including preparation of material and presentation to customers.
Manage AI technical advisors and consultants.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (mathematics, computer science, physics, bio, chem, engineering, etc.).
3+ years of developing and implementing AI/analytical systems in data science, cancer, or health care field.
Deep understanding of model AI/ML techniques and associated statistical and computational concepts.
Proficient in object-oriented programming (preferably Java), statistical analysis programming (R/Matlab), as well as common frameworks within these for data handling, machine learning, and analytics.
Ability to work independently and primarily during US business hours required.
We are tech-forward and expect staff to be adept at learning and utilizing new platforms on a frequent basis.
Preferred
Master’s degree in an analytical field (mathematics, computer science, physics, bio, chem, engineering, etc.).
AI/analytical systems research.
Prior lab-based experience.
